Mind Map That!

Happy PRIDE month, everyone! I recorded this ukulele love song, "Heart-Stopping Lies," is about gay marriage/LGBT rights to celebrate... (Or maybe I should say 'protest'? It's heartfelt, but not an upper.)  It will be on the Kara Square album "Love Songs For Everyone But Especially Uke."  I've got 7 of the songs officially recorded now!!!  It's getting there!

The beautiful background is a painting by my dear, dear Uncle Terry (Terrence Sherman).  You'll hear a little dedication to him at the end of the video.  And, of course, the video is also dedicated to the love of my life, Katie.  She is a fucking dream (the rainbow-glittery-shooting star-happy-high as a kite-mushy-gushy-lovey-dovey type dream).

So, there's this LGBT website, FAB or FAIL, that needs funded.  I made a video about why I care.  Here's a quick description of what FAB or FAIL aims to do:

"Fab or Fail aims to be the premiere source of promoting and helping LGBTI and straight supporter talent achieve their goals.

If the website Funny or Die had sex with the TV show America's Got Talent and they had a baby their queer offspring would be Fab or Fail."

Derivitive work of "My UFO" by Richard Elzey.

Here is Timberman’s interpretation of my spoken word piece “Shape Shifting Aliens.” He sings it in an uber-cool, laid-back, mellow way… with great effects and synth-lines and drums and and and… it’s awesome. Some of the effects are from My Free Mickey. Jacob Nowak, from ccMixter, took Timberman’s vocals and created a dark, electro version. I love them both! Hope you dig!

Derivitive work of "Surely it's a Shure" by Jeff Meyer.

Speck from ccMixter came up with a vocal remix challenge and invited Ciggi Burns, Panu, and I to collaborate. The first part of the assignment was to record four short vocal snippets.  Next, everyone worked on a remix and we posted around the same time.  It was a blast creating something with our four voices. I went a little artsy with mine…  Here are the various remixes:
